Right at Home, the leader in QUALITY in home care and assistance agency which offers help in the home, currently has opportunities for a Companion - Caregiver - Homemaker.
A homemaker/companion provides essential help with meal planning, preparation and necessary kitchen clean up. Our caregivers are also responsible for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment ensuring the home is safe from falls and fires. Incidental lighthousekeepingis required from time to time.

Job Duties Include

• Preparation of meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries
  
• Works as escort to doctors office and beauty salon
  
• Providescompanionshipfor the client. This includes accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
  
• Assist clients with errands and light housekeeping
  
• Non-medical in home care and assistance for seniors and disabled adults

Including

The educational and training division of our CERT Program. In person seminar series covers a wide range of topics, including

• Techniques on providing your clients with the best care possible
  
• Communication skills to enhance the relationship with your client
  
• Safety/risk management
  
• Understanding special care needs for those with specific diseases or disorders
