Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.Greet customers driving through bypass. Pay rate is $8.00/hr. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Daily Job Responsibilities/functions To Include, But Not Limited To

  • Collect toll charged for use of road by motor vehicles.
  • Collects money and gives customer change.
  • Collects and accounts for tolls. Maintains accuracy of deposit and transaction of funds.
  • Accepts toll and are tickets previously purchased.
  • At end of shift balances cash and records money and tickets received.
  • May sell round-trip booklets.
  • Provides directional info & courteous customer service.
  • Assists with traffic control and advises of safety hazards.
  • May be designated according to place of employment as a Bypass Attendant.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good client/customer service skills.
  • Good basic math skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug-test as well as background check.
  • Minimum HS Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years previous cash handling experience.
