Description
NMC is looking for a part-time Facilities Technician for our Doniphan, NE location. This job is responsible for performing preventative and repair maintenance on NMC facilities including electrical, mechanical and aesthetic.
Duties
Performs preventative electrical, mechanical and aesthetic maintenance on all equipment and systems throughout facilities, including lighting systems, IT systems, HVAC, shop equipment
Performs daily electrical, mechanical and aesthetic repairs assigned through work order system on exterior/interior physical building structure, HVAC, etc.
Performs general ground-keeping maintenance including snow removal, weeding, pruning, etc.
May perform other duties as required and assigned.Qualifications
Skills in effective verbal, listening and written communication to consult with customers, understand issues and recommend solutions.
Skills in customer service.
Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
Ability to identify and resolve machine system malfunctions and operating problems.
Ability to meet and maintain company driving requirements.
Ability to utilize proper bending, lifting, stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing, dismounting and three-points of contact techniques.
Ability to work well as a team member.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.Education And Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational or other technical school, apprenticeship, etc. A plus
1 year of building maintenance experience required, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC and interior finish construction.
Certifications in electrical, HVAC, interior finish, etc. is a plus.
Valid driver's license required.
