Description

NMC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Field Technician at our Lincoln, NE location. The primary responsibility of this position will be to repair machines to the customer's satisfaction in the field and in the shop.

Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair customer machines.
  • Use SIS to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems, and research problems.
  • Use laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports and complete warranty reports.
  • Use service manuals and parts books to look up specs and parts for repairs.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

    • Qualifications

    Prior experience in troubleshooting methods and tools required. Must meet DOT requirements and have an acceptable driving record. Excellent customer service skills, ability to self-schedule and perform duties with minimal supervision required. Knowledge of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems.

    Education And Experience

    High School diploma, tech school degree, or an equivalent combination education and experience.
