Description

Gifford Medical Center in beautiful Randolph, Vermont, is seeking an Data Analyst to work in our Accounting Department. This is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular setting at a rural, financially stable, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosophy, supportive administrative team and advanced technology.

This position will provide analysis to system audits, prospective budgeting, performance analysis, productivity analysis and analysis of reimbursement impacts. Assist in training programs for end-users. Prepare and maintain various financial and clinical data bases as required. Assist, as assigned, in analysis of cost report impact of plans and projects. Prepare trend reports for corporate entities. Support Accounting staff with budget statistics and revenue projections, calculating historical trends, and modeling future budgets.

Two or more years experience in a hospital or multifaceted health care setting desired. Experience with financial analysis, reimbursement and financial reporting in the health care environment. Experience with PC based computer applications and mainframe reporting systems. Intermediate skill set required using Excel and Access. Must be fluent with report writing databases. EOE.
