Organizational Objective/Purpose

Schwab’s Management Information Systems (MIS) team is responsible for providing reliable and timely data that enables business units at Schwab to make timely and informed business decisions. The team also plays a key role in data stewardship and information management at Schwab.

Brief Description Of Role

As a Senior Business Objects universe developer you are responsible for providing effective and scalable Business Intelligence solutions that have corporate-wide impact. You will be joining a dynamic team of universe developers that constantly pushes Business Objects development and architecture to new heights.

Technical/Functional Qualifications

Expert level Business Objects universe design experience, including linked universes, restrictions and aggregate aware objects
Expert level skills modeling data in support of universe design and performance
Working experience with slowly changing dimension tables
Proven recent experience with Business Objects 3.1 version
Experience with medium to large Business Objects universes (100+ tables) is highly desired
Experience with LiveOffice integration
Experience with Xcelsius dashboard design
Strong ability to break complex problems into discrete, actionable components
Excellent communications skills
Self-motivated and results-orientated
Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
Limited travel required
