Job Description

This project manager Task Order is a backfill of the PM that left this June and is currently funded for two years to manage projects with a Health Information Technology (HIT) focus for the Department for Medicaid Systems (DMS). This project manager will be leading a team who will be responsible

  • The revisions of the State Medicaid Health Information Technology (HIT)
  • Assisting with the development of the Commonwealth's specific meaningful use requirements that must be in alignment with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria and federal
  • Implementation of a methodology for tracking of meaningful use of certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology by Medicaid Providers.
    In addition to these specific tasks this individual will also be require
  • Serve as project coordinator for the implementation of the State Medicaid HIT Plan
  • Manage overall strategic plan to guide the development of all HIT related
  • Ensure that all applicable CHFS-OAT's Project Management Standards and Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) processes are
  • Identify and help resolve system problems/issues and report problems to management in a timely
  • Provide status
  • Ensure that Quality and Change Management controls are in
  • Provide Project Management assistance to the Department for Medicaid Services (DMS) for HIT activities as requested
    This position will require someone with strong project management skills, and a background in Medicaid or Health Information Processing.
