Job Description

Pomeroy is seeking a Network administrator Level 1 and 2

Responsibilities

Install, monitor and support advanced functions of Windows operating systems and related applications, such as,Microsoft Clustering.
Preform End User Support AD, Exchange, GPO's, BlackBerry, and etc.
Perform installations, patches, upgrades, capacity planning and performance tuning.
Handle advanced technical issues escalated from Tier 2 for problem resolution.
Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with Vendor support.
Define, monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
Heavily involved on project teams, may lead project initiatives.
Ensure all corporate processes are adhered to ensuring changes tot he enterprise service infrastructure are fully documented following the best practice principles of ITIL.

Qualifications

Core technical proficiencies will be Microsoft Internet Information Server and Microsoft SQL Server.
Must have prior experience in a Windows Systems Administrator role working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills (Hardware & Software).
A solid understanding of TCP/IP network concepts and network trouble-shooting.
A basic understanding of database concepts, routers, firewalls, traffic managers.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help resolve technical issues.
Sense of urgency for issue resolution.
Availability after normal business hours required; rotating on-call 24x7 support.
Bachelors degree and/or related experience and certifications preferred.
