The Role

The Sr. Product Manager is the business owner for Polycom's overall Video Solution release. Responsibilities include driving the solution planning across all of Polycom's video endpoint, management, and infrastructure products as it relates to our own Polycom solution offerings in addition to how they integrate with our Polycom Open Collaboration Network partners. This role will be responsible for providing clear direction, and requirements definition of the overall Solution (MRD, PRD) to ensure the company delivers the right value at the right time to maximize revenue, market adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

'
Manage the full product life cycle across all functions (engineering / marketing / sales / service)
for Polycom's Solutions
'
Ensure that clear and complete MRDs and PRDs are authored by the PM team and approved by
VSG Management through the PLC Gate Process
'
Work collaboratively across the full VSG PM and Engineering team to ensure we define, design
and deliver multi-product / multi-feature solutions
'
Establish a culture of innovation, quality, collaboration, dynamism and winning attitude in the
PM team
'
Effectively communicate to executive management to ensure all issues and deliverables are
managed
'
Support Polycom Sales in engagements with our customers to establish and communicate our
solution leadership

Experience

'
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred) with 8 years of high technology product management industry experience leading and managing complex solutions
'
Demonstrated leader and change agent, assertive personality
'
Product Management experience with Enterprise networking solutions, and hardware and software products
'
Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering multi-product solution releases
'
Excellent written and oral communications / presentation skills
