Minimum Skills/Requirements
Three plus years of experience in managing a service line (or management of equivalent operation in scope and complexity)
Requires in-depth knowledge of the healthcare field and a general working knowledge of all areas of the service line. This senior leader must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served.
Primary Job Functions
Responsible for service line clinical, operational and financial management.. Ensure PHS mission, goals and strategy are achieved within the Service Line through strategic planning, operational management and financial accountability. With the Service Line Medical Director, collaboratively develop, implement, evaluate and champion service line best practice standards and care processes, protocols, and pathways for the service line care continuum. Overall accountability for results. Develop and lead effective care teams. Experience in Womens area critical for success.
