Job Functions

  • Coordinates pre- and post-closing quality
    control to ensure organizational compliance of mortgages originated
    or purchased residential mortgages with established guidelines,
    policies, procedures and investor guidelines.
  • Develops and interprets required tracking
    reports, including spreadsheets and computer-based reports from
    internal and external sources.
  • Produces written quality control reporting and
    monitoring analysis for management and any applicable third parties
    within required timeframes.
  • Coordinates the resolution of quality control
    issues that arise within the review and sale of loan assets with
    applicable internal personnel, external parties, and management.
  • Documents procedures for compliance with
    internal policy, practices and applicable secondary market investor's
    guidelines, including all applicable regulatory requirements. Assures
    procedures are accurately documented and updated for management
    approval.
  • Communicates recommended revisions to
    organizational practices and procedures to enhance quality control
    processes and policies.
  • Assists with audit and examination reviews as
    directed.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Participates in the analysis, development, and
    implementation of project criteria in response to the business needs
    of internal and external customers.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of residential
    mortgage industry experience, or the equivalent combination of
    education and experience is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AUS, and
    Access in order to develop spreadsheets, templates and reports is
    required.
  • Requires good analytic skills, attention to
    detail, and the ability to work within time constraints.
  • Exceptional communications and teamwork skills
    are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and work
    independently under limited supervision.
