Description

Recruiting
Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Accountant for a Public
Accounting Firm in Columbia, SC. The Senior Accountant will primarily service
Manufacturing, Distribution, and Non-Profit organizations and will
work heavily with staff accounting. The ideal candidate can perform most engagements
with little supervision. They direct and review the work of staff accountants and are
capable of making decisions on most accounting matters. In the event of an unusual
situation they will present the pertinent information to the partner
and follow advice. They
will also have a high level of professionalism that could allow them
to grow into the role of Partner.

Responsibilities

Review work

of staff accountants

Evaluate

the performance of staff accountants

Plan,

coordinate, and supervise the various phases of an audit
engagement

Handle client questions and

issues

Skills Required

Four year Accounting

Degree

CPA

Current knowledge of accounting

rules

Ability to handle stressful

environment

2 years experience as a staff

accountant
