Intel is a inventive research and development company building a team to design and engineer high-profile, portable, hand-held consumer electronics products.
The Industrial Design team is seeking a talented and passionate Industrial Designer to work on our next-generation of devices and accessories. This designer will be directly responsible for delivering all aspects of the physical experience, from concepts and prototypes all the way through to production. Design and deliver product concepts that challenge standard processes and redefine the way Intel approaches product development and manufacturing. Develop relationships, work with a team of people to design, produce, market and sell products we believe in, want to contribute to and own. This designer will work collaboratively within a team comprised of other designers, researchers, engineers and program managers to develop a world-class experience.
The Role
Successful candidate will apply strategic thinking to deliver a universally recognized solution, have the creativity and judgment to translate vision into concepts that illustrate simplicity despite underlying complexity or constraints. This designer will possess an exceptional eye for detail and must embrace a highly iterative approach to design and will keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends. Additionally, this designer must be articulate and possess the communication skills to persuasively convey proposals and specifications to other teams within the organization. Candidate must be deadline-driven and possess excellent problem solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field of study
7 years related experience or equivalent experience.
7 years experience with a 3D package Alias, Rhino, Pro-E, sketching and 3-D craftsmanship.
Proven teamwork ability/concept.
Demonstrated ability to present a comprehensive design point of view.
Demonstrated drive and confidence.
Proven ability to prepare production artwork & specifications for product graphics, including labels, logos & icons
