The US Manager of Compensation will develop, implement, and manage, cost effective fair and competitive rewards and recognition strategies and programs that attract, motivate and retain excellent employees. This role is accountable for designing annual incentive and sales plans, managing the implementation of long term incentive plans, support Proxy and Board of Director reporting, Expatraite program management, development of salary structures, salary survey participation, competitive market pricing, maintaining job descriptions, maintaining time in grade systems, and the management and development of the US Compensation Team.
As a strategic partner for the organization, this role manages compensation programs and provides recommendations to leadership relating to program requirements and potential issues. This role provides leadership and guidance to Compensation Team members and partners with HR technology, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, International Compensation, Benefits and Talent Management members on compensation issues. This role oversess the development and maintenance of compensation program design, communications, as well as managing the annual total compensation cycle process.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manages incentive design (sales and PIB), compensation analyses, job descriptions, survey matches and participation, data integrity for compensation eligibility and participation with SAP HCM and ECM for the US
  • Executive Compensation support: board materials, long term incentive plan management, equity valuations, complex analyses
  • Evaluates designs, develops and coordinates compensation related projects (career architecture for acquisitions, annual communication of incentive plans)Required Skills

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or other related field, MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience at a management or senior administrative level with emphasis in compensation design, proxy reporting, board material preparation, equity plan management
  • Knowledge of and experience with technology tools: SAP HCM, ECM, ePrism (Mercer), JEM (Hay) and advanced excel skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with an ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proven leadership ability and experience building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally
  • Experience recognizing the broad, systemic implications of problems and issues and demonstrated experience with managing a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling on the interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
