Medical Assistant/Front Office -Floater

Job Description

The position will be responsible for providing patient care service in the back office setting. These duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the provider with exams, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care under direct supervision and performing phlebotomy, injections, ear lavage, EKG, medication administration, triage, vitals, splinting, urine drug testing and strep testing. Will have front office responsibilities with this combined role.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and critical thinking skills.

  • Educational Requirements:
    High School diploma or equivalent AND Diploma from a Medical Assistant school or comparable armed forces training.
  • Certification Requirements: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification.
