Job Description
Montage Deer Valley, located in the year-round community of Park City, Utah, is considered one of North America's finest mountain resort destinations.
Summary
This position is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long term goals and objectives,uphold Montage Deer Valley’s Vision, Mission and Values; support management and leadership, provides excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives. Duties include; performs designated opening and closing duties of the stewarding department, and keeps back of the house areas clean and organized. Receives, properly stores and rotates all stewarding products. Maintains a clean work area in the butcher shop, all other operating areas of kitchens and back of the house spaces. Duties vary and may include the following depending upon where associate is assigned: sweeps and mops floors, removes trash from work areas, operates dish machine and works in pots and pans station. Assists where needed in kitchens, buffet and plated banquet events, associated set up and break down stations, and off-site catered events. Follows direction of Executive Steward daily, follows all sanitation principles and procedures, and follows all hotel policies and procedures. All positions may perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs that may be outside the scope of normal duties.
High school or equivalent education required including a minimum of three to five years of culinary experience in hotel or resort environment with a strong emphasis in customer service.
