Responsible for serving as a Project Engineer on multiple small capital projects or a single large capital project. It is an administrative position requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in the coordination of the various aspects of a project operation. Daily responsibilities may include reporting on the status of open projects to internal and external customers; coordinating the efforts of multiple discipline engineers, designers and project support staff; and supporting & developing relationships with internal and external customers.Requires a minimum of three years of related experience as a single-discipline engineer, which would include several years experience functioning as a lead on jobs that required multi-discipline participation OR a minimum of five years functioning as a Project Engineer with all of the attendant responsibilities. A Bachelor's of Science in an Engineering Discipline is preferred but will consider equivalent relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Must be proficient with the MS Office suite. General knowledge of a scheduling software is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting to groups. Prior experience working as a vendor to or employee of the DuPont organization and familiarity with DuPont's engineering standards and work processes is strongly preferred
