Responsibilities

Calculation of air emissions and/or wastewater discharges. Evaluation of pollution reduction options, permit preparation, and monitor designs for compliance with environmental requirements. Must be able to maintain positive regular client contact and interact with public regulatory agencies. Collects and analyzes environmental, social and economic data.Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.May attend kick-off and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progressesProvide mentoring and coaching of direct reports, as appropriate.Attract and retain new hires in the group.Monitor performance against plan and budgetDrive continQualifications:

  • At least 10 years of environmental experience with focus on air quality, permitting and compliance for chemical plants and refineries is required.
  • Regulatory compliance and permitting experience is a required.
  • Process engineering experience with the design of air emission control systems is preferred.
  • Capable of being the lead environmental engineer on the task force of major projects is required
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical) or related field required.
  • Masters degree desirable
  • Experience with AERMOD, and SCREEN3 dispers
