  • Master's Degree
  • Graduated from accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA board certification status (or if new grad, in the process). Current unrestricted licensure in the State of Maryland or has eligibility for certification based on meeting requirements by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Meets credentialing requirements of DCH. Employment is contingent upon successful and timely completion of the credentialing process. Minimum one year experience in similar setting desired. Broad knowledge and skills necessary to function in housewide floors/units. Will be willing to hire new graduate as long as above requirements are met. Delegated medical services within the supervising physicians customary practice and within the Physician Assistants training or experience. Takes and records initial history and physicals and writes daily progress notes to be reviewed with supervising physician. Writes orders consistent with plan of care. Prepares discharge paperwork and patient education per supervising physician's request.
