Description
This position is for midstream energy projects and requires a detailed-oriented Engineer with experience in the oil and gas industry. Must have the ability and experience to perform basic engineering and design functions for typical and complex pipeline pumping and compressor stations, liquid and gas storage and plant and metering facilities in accordance with ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 and DOT CFR 49 sections 192 and 195 codes.

� Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task.
� Develop the project deliverables.
� Is customer focused with a personal drive and reputation for meeting commitments
� Understands fit for purpose project planning without sacrificing quality compliance and fundamental delivery � scalable project delivery
� Possesses a broad technical background and has the ability to �roll up their sleeves" and self-perform work, along with managing it
� Is comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading
� Acts as the Company representative with the Client and selected suppliers during project execution
� Defines the scope of work and develops the Design Basis Memorandum in collaboration with client expectations.
� Ensures the project deliverables meet technical excellence and complies with the company Quality Management System.
� Must function independently and autonomously while keeping management in the loop
� Mobilizes company resources through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective quality work
� Responsible for developing budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project
� Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the project including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule
� Assists and oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Plan and other documents for the applicable work.
� Possesses the ability to strike the right balance between customer, employee and enterprise objectives
� Understands oil and gas facility projects. Exposure to pipeline projects is a plus.
� May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of Clients
� Follows all Company, Client, safety and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed
� Is willing to occasionally travel to customers and job sites
Basic Qualifications
� Must have project delivery experience to execute multiple projects.
� Must be effective at listening to a customer and developing a project scope that meets the needs - even when the customer is not certain of scope.
� BS Engineering Degree from accredited college or university is required
� Minimum 5 years experience in project engineering or management positions relating to oil and gas Upstream projects is required
� Professional Registration (P.E.) desired
� 10+ years total engineering experience in Oil/Gas industry is required
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate will also possess the following preferred qualifications:
� Production and construction experience/savvy
� A mechanical engineering background is preferred
� A full suite of Project Management experience on multiple medium and small upstream projects
� A Professional Engineer registration is preferred
