Belcan is currently looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers. Belcan engineers with experience in the following fields have been the most successful

  • Machine / Heavy Machine Design - Test Rig Design
  • Steam & Gas Power Generation - Engine Design
  • Rotor and Stator Components - Mechanism Design
  • Oil & Gas offshore drilling - Pressure vessels, packages
  • Aircraft / Marine & Land Base Gas Turbine Engine Design

    • Essential Responsibilities

  • Follows design from concept to completion, through the manufacturing and assembly cycles to certification testing
  • Investigates component or system failures, find root cause and provide solutions.
  • Carries out cost reduction projects examining manufacturing process, material changes, component number reduction or simpler design
  • Creates repair procedures
  • Makes design review presentations, provide design record book and related documentation

    • Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will have more than five years experience on related design projects.
  • A Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
