Aerotek is currently seeking candidates for a Avionics/Electrical Field Engineer position in Wichita, KS.
Job Responsibilities Will Include
Thoroughly investigate and resolve technical issues or customer complaints involving the operation of our equipment during flight test, production and in-service operations for entry into service for L85 EPDS program
Assist and train customer maintenance, engineering and flight operations personnel with aircraft EPDS equipment usage and troubleshooting
Monitor in-service systems equipment and if a problem is identified, perform an in depth failure analysis to determine the probable cause and recommended solution
Work with Product Support Engineering and Product Groups to ensure production and final assembly line issues with our equipment are addressed
Provide technical presentations covering the EPDS as required
Provide customer insight / intelligence as necessary throughout our organization
Provide all customers (internal and external) timely and accurate responses to queries covering all products
Utilize provided tools to track and maintain customer queries to closure
Maintain regular contact with all assigned customers
Develop and maintain budget
Provide after- hours support as required
Complete regular reviews of customer fleet history for reliability trends
Provide technical sales support as requiredRequirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Experience with Entry Into Service aircraft, Hands on experience diagnosing issues with avionics and electrical systems, Must have good customer services skills
