Description

Brandon is seeking a dedicated and energetic Overnight Child and Youth Care worker. Be a postive role model and provide the highest quality of service to our clients by creating an environment that is safe, respectful and positive. Excellent Benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Shifts Available

Overnight Awake Thurs-Sat/11:00pm-9:00am
Weekend: $10 - $12+ hr with $1 differential

Qualifications

  • Dedication to at-risk youth
  • At least 3 years experience with similar population a plus
  • High School Diploma / GED; bachelors degree preferred
  • Reliable transportation (we are NOT MBTA accessible)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be awake and stay to ensure adequate monitoring of clients and facility
  • Call in to central voice mail every half- hour between 11:00pm-9:00am
  • Check in with evening staff regarding clients� behaviors
  • Secure the building during the shift. Do routine bed checks (at least every 15 minutes) on all clients, observing and noting behavior and dynamics of sleep
  • Set limits and manage behavior of clients when needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed
