  • JOB PURPOSE:

Acts as Organizational Development liaison and advisor to CenterLight Health System leadership and facilitates CenterLight's initiatives across the enterprise. Oversees and monitors interventions and learning activities conducted by training and learning vendor. Plans, develops, implements and administers HR programs for CenterLight's employees. Responsible for development and integration of human resource programs and associated, multiple projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectivesProvides organizational development, succession planning and talent development services to the organization. Supports implementation and development of broad change initiatives, strategies, interventions and change management needed for organizational alignment and overall organizational effectiveness

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directsTraining and OD staff.
  • Directs needs assessment and performance gap analysis with management to identify and resolve those gaps via learning opportunities and organizational development interventions which enable reaching of organizational goals. Manages, with input from training/OD vendor, creation of customized learning and development solutions for staff and management. Consults with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters. Based on assessments, determines measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
  • In conjunction with management developschange management strategy, which includes completion of a readiness assessment. Conducts risk analysis, identifies areas of resistance, designs tactics to overcome resistance, develops overall change management strategy, architects the change management team structure, team preparation, as well as sponsorship assessment.
  • Directs design and implementation of Succession Planning, Career Development, Mentoring, Career Ladder , and other talent management programs by implementing processes and programs that promote career advancement for high potential leaders, career mobility, employee retention and workplace satisfaction .
  • Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
  • Responsible for providing a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and proceduresas they pertain to management and workforce learning and development.
  • Facilitates and works with Public Affairs/ Communication among employees and management. May guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidancefrom an organizational development or employee development perspective.
  • Provides expertise in strategy development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations.
  • Assists with planning, implementation, and on-going maintenance of Employee Relations, Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity, and Compensation Programs as they relate to employee and organizational development.
  • Consults with management and employees on Equal Employment Opportunity issues and charges as they impact organizational effectiveness and employee development
  • Oversees design and developmentofHR training programs for management and employees. Oversees and maintains HR-related instructional programs.
  • Oversees Training, Learning Administration and OD vendor functions, including implementation of grants .Oversees vendor and/or consultants in development of learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans
  • Measures effectiveness of all organization-wide training programs and learning activities in terms of employee accomplishments and performance, using industry criteria
  • Directs and implements workforce development activities.

  • Education

    Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.

    Experience

    5-7 years of experience in Organizational Development, Learning, or Training. Two years or more experience in other related Human Resources areas preferred. 2 or more years experience measuring and quantifying training and OD impact on employee behavior and ROI.

    True Leadership Experience (Director) already

    Six Sigma Certified

    ASTD Certfied/Ability to measure Training and Learning

    Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office, combined with strong internet/web software, tools and other applications

    Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives.
