Patient Representative needed for Medical Records/switchboard/registration area.
JOB SUMMARY: At the direction of the Manager, perform a variety of customer service and clerical responsibilities to assist in the optimal functioning of the Department. Identify areas for improvement. Primary responsibilities are directing calls, greeting customers, and registering patients. Must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette, and be willing to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with a minimum of one year of experience or the equivalent required. Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word required.
