Job Description

• Design and developnew product concepts, using CAD software(SolidWorks) and related tools
• Provide critical engineering, design, and testing support toward development of specific new product designs
• Perform productprototype testingand troubleshooting for design refinement and ultimately, product design validation
• Translate product demonstrationprototypes into refined designs
• Generate design concepts from the ground-up for new products and in-line product improvements.
• Support productcommercialization, including industry and production launch

• PleaseDO NOT APPLYunless you have a BS Degreein Mechanical Engineering(or a related field) and2 to 5 yearsofdesignexperience specifically withhigh-volume consumer products
• Extensive experience withCAD, proficiency specifically with SolidWorks is preferred
• Must be well-versed in designingcomplex surface injection molded plastic parts
• Experienced in taking products/product parts from the concept design and prototyping stage through to manufacturing
• Proven experience and expertise inmechanical part design.
• Experience designing parts for mass-production processes such as: sheet metal stamping and forming, machining processes, injection molding, etc.
