Job Description

  • Communicate with internal and external customers in order toresolve technical issues on software products
  • Gather technical data from customers and ensure that all information is retrieved at once to be able to solve problems relating to known defects promptly.
  • Test and provide workarounds for customer issuesand notify management of any potential escalations
  • Test and recreate issues before escalating to development and thenwork with development to resolve problemsthat are code related
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings in order to provide technically accurate solutions
  • Provide outstanding and timely customer service and work effectively in teams with customers, engineering, professional service

All candidatesMUSThave the following experiences to qualify for consideration

  • DO NOT APPLYunless you have a Bachelor's Degree(ideally in Computer Science,Engineering or other related fields) and at least4 years experience with UNIX Administration and SQL
  • Experience in aCustomer Service/IT Help Desk Roleis critical as extensive troubleshooting experience is required
  • Deepnetwork knowledgerequired(TCP/IP, Routing)
  • Database handling experience(able todevelop SQL queriesto retrieve information from customers' databases)
  • Oracleexperience is a strong plus
  • Fluency in Spanishis also a plus but not required
