Job Description

• Responsible for hardware development ofelectronic control modulesfor automotive applications.
• Consult and correspond with lab and production personnel on the status of test equipment and problems with test equipment operation to ensure all testing equipment remains operational and testing completion dates are maintained.
• Design and modify product testing softwareincluding providing electrical schematics, test layouts, and complete documentation.
• Order and track components and materials to ensure project advancement and completion is timely.
• Review product dockets for cost, feasibility, andcapability of product testingon new and modified products.
• Making recommendations on specification changes for product testing.

• Experience repairing microprocessor-based test equipment is required
• Knowledge ofsurface mount technologyis essential
• Must be proficient in DOS and Windows environments and inC or Visual Basic programming
• Experience with in-circuit testing of printed circuit boards is preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Agilent and/orIFR in-circuit testersis preferred
• Knowledge of LabWindows CVI and Labview is preferred
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
