Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for providing support to the Aftermarket Services Department. The incumbent is an integral member of a Global Aftermarket standardization initiative for continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.

  • Benchmarking the current BOP repair processes performed at varying facilities
  • Assist with identifying best practices and helping to develop a set of standardized
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for the standardized BOP repair
  • Assist with translating the developed repair process SOPs into logic paths to be programmed
    into SAPs variant
  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes, tooling and fixtures for more efficient
  • Develops the routing process for manufactured parts and creates manufacturing Bill of
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities
    to facilitate production
  • Manage aftermarket capital deployment projects to increase capacity and reduce cycle time
    across various US and international locations from the planning stage, to financial
    justification, approvals, execution and
  • The work will be performed in close cooperation with the leadership of the repair
    facilities undergoing improvement and with the support and mentorship of the Drilling
    organization

  • Job Requirements/

  • B.S. or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related
  • Interpersonal verbal and written communication
  • PC skills and working knowledge of engineering software packages such as
    AUTOCAD, MathCAD or
  • Proficient in MS Office Products.
