Job Description Position responsible for managing the service for Surface Service Systems facilities. Specific knowledge in Wellhead equipment and in maintaining and developing Service/Shop capabilities; ensuring safety compliance and safe working practices; managing the administrative functions associated with Service work. The Field Service Manager's primary objective is to supervise the day-to-day operations of all of the area's field service work,
machine shop operations, and all field/contract service opportunities, as well as working with major customers promoting our complete capabilities.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent adn a minimum of five (5) years experience. Candidate must also have the ability to carry out the required technical and commercial discussions to ascertain customer expectations. While specific product knowledge relative to the Surface wellhead and valve industry is desirable, training will be provided. Successful candidate will have the ability to preapre reports and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and client/customers. Candidate muct be PC literate and a good working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage. The postiion demands excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Ideal candidate will have the ability to rapidly develop and maintain both external and internal business relationships. Candidate must be energetic, motivated, self-driven and able to work independently. Other skills required include commercial awareness, negotiation, relationship management, decision-making skills, and the ability to prioritize.
