Job Description Field Technician

General Function: Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, emergency shutdown systems and equipment

Specific Duties Include But Not Limited To

• Measure, layout, fabricate and install tubing tray
• Measure, layout, cut, thread, ream and fit hard pipe systems
• Demo tubing runs and end devices
• Install single line and group tubing and fittings
• Layout and install pneumatic and hydraulic panels and end devices
• Test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain process and safety control systems
• Perform proving of control systems, Programable Logic Controllers (PLC) logic and other control devices

Field Electrician

General Function: Install and maintain electrical and electronic control systems and equipment, Programable Logic Controllers, Motor Control Centers, lighting, power supplies and communication systems

Specific Duties Include But Not Limited To

• Demo cable tray and conduit runs
• Route, bend and install conduit runs
• Route, fabricate and install cable tray
• Install and maintain lighting and power distributions systems
• Gland and terminate
• Hook up generators, transformers, Motor Control Centers and Nav-Aids
• Troubleshoot, diagnose Electrical/Electronic malfunctions relative to control systems and equipment

• High School or GED
• TWIC card or the ability to obtain one
• Able to read and interpret field drawings,P&ID's
• General knowledge of industry standards, National Electrical Code,American Institute standard and relative Government regulations
• Able to work long hours, in remote locations on and offshore in extreme climate conditions
