Job Description Field Technician
General Function: Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, emergency shutdown systems and equipment
Specific Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Measure, layout, fabricate and install tubing tray
- Measure, layout, cut, thread, ream and fit hard pipe systems
- Demo tubing runs and end devices
- Install single line and group tubing and fittings
- Layout and install pneumatic and hydraulic panels and end devices
- Test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain process and safety control systems
- Perform proving of control systems, Programable Logic Controllers (PLC) logic and other control devices
Field Electrician
General Function: Install and maintain electrical and electronic control systems and equipment, Programable Logic Controllers, Motor Control Centers, lighting, power supplies and communication systems
Specific Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Demo cable tray and conduit runs
- Route, bend and install conduit runs
- Route, fabricate and install cable tray
- Install and maintain lighting and power distributions systems
- Gland and terminate
- Hook up generators, transformers, Motor Control Centers and Nav-Aids
- Troubleshoot, diagnose Electrical/Electronic malfunctions relative to control systems and equipment
- High School or GED
- TWIC card or the ability to obtain one
- Able to read and interpret field drawings,P&ID's
- General knowledge of industry standards, National Electrical Code,American Institute standard and relative Government regulations
- Able to work long hours, in remote locations on and offshore in extreme climate conditions
