The Process Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design of skid mounted units. The engineer will lead projects working with the mechanical, electrical and control groups. This engineer will work closely with production, maintenance and quality control colleagues to insure timely and satisfactory delivery of the manufactured systems and will interface with customers on start-up.Our client is a well established company. Less than 20% travel anticipated.Responsibilities include: Process Design; Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and heat & material balances Size and specify process equipment (compressors, heat exchangers, separators, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets Prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Perform capital cost analyses and utility usage analysis. Participate in risk assessments including hazards analyses Lead design reviews and the configuration management teams Work with the production and operations team for factory test and fabrication support Participate in field commissioning and testingEducation/Experience: B.S. Chemical Engineering 4+ years experience in industry; could have much more experience Jack of all trades in a chemical plant project engineering t with PFD to detailed engineering including control systems to construction support and start-up trouble shooting. Project team leadership experience Excellent interpersonal skills Best if (but not required)

Process Engineering background with unit operations that includes the use of compressors or gas systems. (Natural Gas would be ideal.)
