Need DE Mortgage Underwriters with at least 2+ years experience. This is a great opportunity with one of Charlotte's growing banks. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, approving and underwriting large and complex consumer requests and products within company and industry guidelines. Functions may include reviewing financial statements, credit report, and applicable ratios, examining transactions, preparing formal reports for review, ensuring all documents are consistent, implementing fraud techniques, contacting customers and partners to gather information. Minimum Qualifications:DE Certification is a MUST, 2 years Exp underwriting FHA/VA mortgage loans, excellent written/oral communication skills, superior organizational, time management and problem solving abilities, ability to think outside the box, experience underwriting across multiple lines of business, proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to work in a team based environment, and ability to multi-task.
