Insurance Collector

Location: Orlando, FL 32803
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm
Dates: Immediate need
Pay Range: $12.75 per hour

Position Duties May Include

  • AR Follow up with Insurance companies
  • Claims Examination
  • Follow-up and appeals with set payers such as Cigna, Avmed, Medicare, BC/BS, Humana
  • Insurance Verification on outstanding claims to rectify outstanding balances
  • Familiarity with Insurance Clearinghouses and processes
  • Modify , reviewing and processing of EOBs
  • Updating files, charts and claims accordingly
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft products including Excel

    • Requirements

  • Knowledge in accounts receivable management
  • Minimum of 2 years of insurance collection experience
  • Management experience in a Insurance collection setting desired but no required
  • Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT Coding
