Responsibilities

• High ability to discuss and speak to DRG Codes
• ICD 9 / ICD-10 Educator
• Classroom Educator
• Train new coders
• Inpatient and Outpatient
• Prepare and present established curriculum

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of inpatient hospital/outpatient coding experience
• Ability to understand coding and train non-coders

• Prefer someone who can get or has their AHIMA Cert
• CDI knowledge (a PLUS)
