Software Engineer/Sr. Developer w/ OO Language and SQL

You will collaborate with business teams, while architecting and implemnting the technical solutions and be responsible for driving the project end to end. Responsibilities

• Implement complex mathematical algorithms to perform data analysis to uncover revenue opportunities
• Develop data requirements for pricing and revenue management solutions
• Full lifecycle application development
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis
• Software modeling and simulation
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• Integrate software with existing systems

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in an information sciences or engineering field
• 3+ years experience with a relational database (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata or Netezza)
• Experience using SQL or stored procedure programming
• Proficiency in, at least, 1 programming language such as Java, C#/.net or C++
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering in a Unix/Linux or Windows environment
• Experience in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving & complex analysis
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and implementation
• Experience in designing, building and optimizing front end applications
• Knowledge of Shell and Batch Scripting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred Skills

• Data Mining and Reporting Expertise including 3rd party tools such as R or SAS
