Our client, a manufacturer, is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for its facility located in San Antonio, Texas.

The Opportunity

The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will manage the continuous development and maintenance of the companys Environmental, Health and Safety system to insure compliance with all current regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will maintain COSHH data sheets and provide risk assessments and training to insure that the facility is compliant with current regulations.
• Review and update safety procedures in line with current Environmental, Health, and Safety legislation requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful Environmental, Health, and Safety performance metrics.
• Keep management aware of adverse Environmental, Health, and Safety trends or concerns.
• Ensure all statutory inspections and examinations are carried out on time.
• Maintain appropriate records. Develop action plans that address key findings.

Requirements

• B.S. in Business, Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
• 5-10+ years experience.
• CSP Certification required.
