Overall Short Description
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting the supervisor in overall coordination within the department with substantial latitude for independent action in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
Revise and edit written material as needed.
Make travel arrangements by preparing and processing travel requests and expense reports.
Assemble, collate and assist with preparing responses to RFPs, etc.
Order supplies for the department
Update Calendars
Maintain department logs, reports and/or data entry for functional databases
Act as a model for professionalism, integrity, and values.
Build professional relationships with customers and other teams
Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Equivalent to one year trade school, technical school or junior college, (equivalency is two years experience to one year of school).
Excellent spelling, grammar, composition, proofreading, interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of the Windows environment including Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook.
