Our bibliographic and reference databases, drug information software, point-of-care tools, web-based information systems and online continuing education products also support the delivery of health information via interactive formats.
Power brands of Wolters Kluwer Health, a Wolters Kluwer division, include traditional publishers of medical and drug reference tools and textbooks, such as Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and Facts & Comparisons® and electronic information providers, such as Ovid® and UpToDate®, Medi-Span® and ProVation® Medical.
We are looking for an Editorial Product Managerfor our Philadelphia, PA office.
The Editorial Product Manager is responsible for developing products through appropriate research and collaboration with Acquisitions Editor, Publisher, and Vice President that meet market demand and solve the needs of our customers. Also responsible for managing assigned products, ensuring that the products (and their components) deliver on-time, on-spec, on-scope, and on-budget. Success in this role also requires close collaboration with our authors, subject matter experts, and customers, as well as our Sales and Marketing departments.
The distinction between the Associate Editorial Product Manager and Editorial Product Manager positions is related to workload (i.e., the number of products assigned) and the criticality/complexity of the products (i.e., revenue generated, scope of products). The Editorial Product Manager will be responsible for carrying a higher volume workload and working on products with higher criticality/complexity.
The Editorial Product Manager manages all phases of the product development cycle for all assigned product deliverables, whether in print or electronic format or as a for-sale product or ancillary component. This position collaborates with the Acquisitions Editor and Marketing Manager in product planning and evaluation, and manages the creation of content (manuscript, software, art, videos, etc.) by authors, subject matter experts, contributors, vendors, in-house staff, or any combination thereof, and the delivery of final files to production.
