Description
We are seeking a VP of Human Resources. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fast growing food manufacturer with three manufacturing facilities across the country, and more than 400 employees committed to excellence.
The VP of Human Resources will be responsible for the development of policies and programs for the entire corporation. The major areas of responsibility will be professional development, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety & health, and employee services. The VP of HR will also be responsible for the origination of human resources practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout the company. The VP of HR will assist and advise senior management on Human Resources and Safety matters. As well as strategic human resources planning to provide the company with the best talent available and to position the company as the Employer of Choice.
The qualifications for this job will be as follows: an experienced leader and human resource executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the food industry. An energetic forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. You must be a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and a strong operational focus. You must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex human resource related documents and be able to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Must be able to travel between 3 facilities located in the US.
Degree Requirements
Masters Degree or equivalent, or ten to fifteen years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
