We are hiring Counselors/Mental Health Professionals for our facility in Lawton, OK!

As a counselor, you are part of the Mental Health Services team providing counseling and psychological services.

Our counselors have knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques of administering and scoring psychological tests; of mental disorders, their symptoms, treatment, and social implications in relation to client and family; of psychological theory and counseling techniques and of statistical research as applied in the field of psychology.

Requirements For This Position Include

• A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or human relations with one semester of at least three hundred (300) hours of applied clinical practicum in psychology or counseling.
• Two additional years of qualifying experience and must have a passing score on the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification or hold a current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Behavior Practitioner (LBP) or as a Nationally Certified Psychologist (NCP); or a doctorate in Psychology.
• Ability to discuss with inmate's needs and concerns and initiate problem identification and problem solving techniques.
• Experience in working with an offender population is a plus!
