Systems Integration & Development, Inc. an IT solutions provider located in Rockville, Maryland is currently seeking a Project Manager. This is full-time position located in Silver Spring, MD/Rockville MD. The candidate will be expected to

Effectively manage ateam providing support to customer in the following areas:

Infrastructure management
Information Security/Risk Management

Knowledgeable of Federal security policies and guidance such as FISMA

Experience

Must have 6 years of broad-based project management experience of which 5 years must be leading project management lifecycle management (initiation through closeout) and successfully completing IT projects including:

Infrastructure/ Network related projects Local Area/Wide Area Wired/Wireless Networks (Windows, Linux and Unix)
Knowledgeable of Federal security policies and guidance such as FISMA

B.A. /B.S in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or the equivalent in related work experience) is preferred

Skills

Knowledge of project management plans, scope management, risk management, change management, and resource management requirements with the capability to provide documents demonstrating this experience
Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and facilitate
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Certifications

Preferred - PMP Certification from PMI
