Job Description

The Resume Writer will work with staffing teams and proposed candidates to tailor resumes for candidate submissions to the Customer. Resumes must accurately and creatively present qualifications and experience in a way that will best "sell" the candidate. Additional resume writing projects may be required as well.

Responsibilities

  • Critique, edit and rewrite existing resumes

  • Write customized and targeted resumes from candidate's "street resume"
    • Will have direct interaction with candidate by phone /email

  • Author candidate summaries to provide quick glance knowledge of experience and skill
    • Work closely with Staffing Manager to ensure strong presentation

  • Ensure resume compliance with customer's skills requirements
    • Qualifications:

    • 4+ years experience supporting resume writing for proposals

  • 2+ years experience tailoring resumes for competitive bids
    • Ability to glean pertinent information from candidate to produce best athlete resumes

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively
    • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to meet and work well under deadlines
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    Required Education:

    BS/BA degree in a business or management discipline

    Or Minimum 4 years relevant experience (total 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
