The Regional Service Manager reports directly the VP of Customer Service.
Each Service Manager also works closely with the Regional Sales Manager of
their territory to ensure that the sales process is completed in a smooth
and timely manner. The main responsibility of the service managers is the
direct supervision of 7 to 8 field service engineers.
This is a hands-on supervisory role. Incumbent will take calls from
customers and work directly with them to troubleshoot problems and
coordinate installations, repairs, and other services. After they dispatch
and schedule the field service engineers to customers' locations, they will
continue to serve as a liaison for customers, promoting the communication
between service engineers and the customer to ensure that the job is
performed to their satisfaction and a good relationship is established.
