    URS Corporation is seeking a Process Technology Manager to be based in our Anchorage, Alaska location.

    Job Description And Responsibilities

    The role of Technology Managers should be to utilize their skills and experience, through technical excellence, in assisting the company to attract talent and business opportunity. This should be accomplished through several primary activities.

  • Serve as Lead or Consulting Process Engineer for Upstream
  • Represent URS in industry conferences to gain potential client business
  • Serve on industry technical committees that advance URS technical competence and industry
  • Advance the technical capabilities and performance efficiency of URS in Upstream
  • Advance the in-house design tools and methods to continually broaden and advance URS capabilities in the Upstream business
  • Recognizable Industry Involvements – papers, presentations, committees, boards, conference
  • Technical Development –Technology refinements and design tool developments, new business area technology development or
  • Proposals Development and Sales Completion – Oversee smaller efforts and be personally involved in large or strategic projects proposals development and sales presentations, develop technical advantages where
  • Business Development – assist with sales calls as requested from BD
  • Conceptual and Pre-FEED Work: Serve as Lead or provide extensive consulting to key Conceptual and Pre-FEED efforts. Participate in Kickoff Meetings, major work product review meetings (PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP), and other major client review meetings as appropriate. A major objective is to build a relationship and consideration for future or expanded work with the client
  • FEED and Detail Design Work: Serve as a significant consultant to FEED projects. Participate in Kickoff Meetings, major work product review meetings (PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP – internal and with client), and other major client review meetings as appropriate. A major objective is to build a relationship and gain consideration for future or expanded work with the client company. Perform a limited amount of QA/QC review of key work products.
