Job Description And Responsibilities
The role of Technology Managers should be to utilize their skills and experience, through technical excellence, in assisting the company to attract talent and business opportunity. This should be accomplished through several primary activities.
Technical leadership in the assigned technology area including, but not limited
Technical assurance and quality of deliverables on all work
Key resource staffing, supervision oversight, and
Technology development and
Industry profile and recognition,
Key customer technical
Pursuit of studies, and technology partnerships that may lead to subsequent FEED's, and EPC
Assurance of Business Unit P&L on any assigned technology
Management of Business Unit overhead expenditure in the assigned technology
Strategic support to the VP Technology Group in terms of market and technology
Development of technical talent working in the assigned technology
Maintain and secure supplier relationships and market intelligence for proprietary equipment associated with the assigned technology
Maintain design tools and procedures specific to assigned technology
Focus on publication/presentation opportunity for external
Review and contribute to proposals as requested to help develop competitive advantage and assure
Develop independent client interface for technical development opportunities and performance assurance on assigned
Assure contract interface on technical issues between BD and Operations is seamless for technology related issues (e.g., performance commitments/
Provide leadership to Technology Managers in assigned area.Key Measures
