Job Duties

The OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (OTA) provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to residents upon physician referral and under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care standards. OTAs report to the Rehab Services Manager (RSM) or supervising Occupational Therapist.

Computer Skills

Candidates should be computer literate and have the ability to learn and operate proprietary software used in the management and delivery of therapy services.
Communications: Candidates must possess the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff. They must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
Certifications & Licenses: Candidates must be currently NBCOT-certified. and must be currently registered and/or licensed in the State of Hawaii.
Other: Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state-specific abuse/fraud registry check.Required ExperienceOne year of experience in a long-term care or related setting is preferred.Required EducationMust be a graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT).Other Job Details
