Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA
Job Duties
The PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to residents upon physician referral and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care standards. PTAs report to the Rehab Services Manager or supervising PT.
Computer Skills
Candidates should be computer literate and have the ability to learn and operate proprietary software used in the management and delivery of therapy services.
Communications: Candidates must possess the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff. They must be able to speak, write, read and follow instructions in English.
Other: Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state specific abuse andor fraud registry check.Required ExperienceOne year of experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.Required EducationMust be a graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).Other Job Details
