C/C++ Linux Software Engineer

General Function

Assist in the design, development, testing and documentation of software for a medical electronic readout device for a passive implantable pressure sensor.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist with the development of future products by designing software and firmware to meet given performance criteria.
2. Prototype, test, and troubleshoot new designs.
3. Document the software design per Hospitals quality system and FDA requirements.
4. Research processors and interface with vendors.
5. Assist and support other employees and teams as necessary.
6. Occasional travel may be required to client sites.

Qualifications

1. C or C++ programming language and Linux experience required.
2. Tcl/Tk, DSP, LabVIEW and FPGA experience preferable.
3. Embedded systems experience required.
4. Experience and solid level of comfort with electricalschematics and hardware troubleshooting.
5. Self-starter and able to work independently.
6. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonalcommunications skills.
