Description
Position: QA Engineer
Location: Lehi, UT, SALT LAKE CITY, DRAPER

DUTIES
Lead complex test efforts that require multiple test resources and coordination with multiple development teams
Work under minimal supervision while delivering on aggressive schedules
Design and plan test tasks to assuring quality in all products delivered to clients
Produce detailed metrics to track and manage testing progress
Drive resolution of complex defects across multiple technology tiers and with geographically dispersed teams
Participate in the execution of test cases required for each project and question the performance of the software without assistance.
Produce reports that reflect open issues for developers and management to review
Organize and participate in test plan reviews
Qualifications
4+ years developing and testing web applications.
Comprehensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies and best practices.
Strong testing skills, proven by a track record of success.
Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
Strong team orientation and ethic.
Ability to take direction and function independently. Assists others in their work.
Independent time management skills.
Ability to write basic SQL queries
Experience using diverse technology stacks
Experience working on a Scrum or XP team
Familiarity with the following: Selenium, jMeter, jUnit, jQuery, javascript, HTML, CSS, test-driven development, SQL, C, ASP.NET, Java Lead complex test efforts that require multiple test resources and coordination with multiple development teams
